Life on Mars?

NASA’s Perseverance Rover has collected some interesting results lately. Collecting samples from an ancient dry riverbed in Jezero Crater, an analysis of the sample has displayed results consistent with biosignatures.

Planetary science did not happen overnight and with the results of one mission, but rather as a collective body of results where consistency is needed. One thing we do know is that Mars had liquid water at some point and also a much more dense atmosphere than what is present today.

I’ve said for years that we need to go to Mars and dig for fossils. And we should not be surprised at all at the results revealing what they have, after all Mars is in our neighborhood. We know that at least one star has life; ours, so it should not be surprising if we were to find life in and on the "next door neighbors home" as well.

Stay tuned, things are about to get very interesting.
